
This year’s live show will not only be limited to anime songs, it will in addition offer live showcases featuring all genres of music. We will be accepting entries from all over the world.
This live show will be the only BtoBtoC, meaning it is scheduled be open to the general public as well.

The entry for the showcase live is closed now.
The performing artist will be introduced here toward the end of August, and buyers from overseas can enter by showing TIMM Pass at the entrance, same as last year.

The following list is not definitive version. You may also change over time.


1. Domestic solo artists/bands with strong interest in expanding their music career internationally, those who already have international plan or expanding business overseas now, or those who have substantial overseas potential are eligible to make a booth at TIMM.
2. Foreign solo artists/bands who have music carrier already in Japan or has specific plan and release in Japan or who has substantial potential to make business with Japanese buyers are eligible to make a booth at TIMM.
3.Domestic artist/band should belong to one of the groups below:The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), Japan Association of Music Enterprises(JAME), Federation of Music Producers Japan(FMPJ), Music Publishers Association of Japan(MPA), All Japan Concert Live Entertainment Promoters Conference(ACPC), Independent Label Council Japan (ILCA), Independent Records and Musicians Association Musicians Association(IRMA), Foundation for the Promotion of the Music Industry and Culture (PROMIC) (these organizations listed in random order), or to a similar industry organization.

Fill out the required information on the provided application sheet. Send by e-mail, or via post office/parcel delivery service to TIMM office with video and/or music for consideration.
We won’t accept any entry from artist/band directly. Please apply under the name of management company/label company/music publishing company which has a booth at TIMM 2011.
Please note that we will not return your application data.


Artists will be chosen by the TIMM live selection board.
Please make sure to write which organization your artist belongs to for domestic artist application.
The results will be sent by e-mail to the registered person approx. mid August.
We will not answer specific inquiries about the selection.

The deadline for applications is July 22, 2011 arrival at TIMM office.

Having a booth at TIMM is required to be eligible for consideration to play at TIMM showcase live.
If you have not completed application for a booth before the booth application deadline (July 29th) and paid required booth fee, your application for showcase automatically disqualified.
Performance will be 10-15minutes per an artist/ band.
From amongst the applications for the live showcase artists will be chosen by the TIMM live selection board.
The results will be send by e-mail and announced on TIMM official website in approx. mid August.
Please note that we ask your cooperation in supplying us with information about licensing, performances booked or other business advances that your company may have made via TIMM.
TIMM is commissioned by the Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry Japan, to whom we make an annual report.
No entry fee is required to apply for TIMM showcase, and no fee is required for artists performing.
This showcase gig is open to the public. We announced the availability of free tickets, and distribute to those who apply, using a lottery system if demand requires.
