Tokyo International Music Market will take place again this year with the aim of revitalizing the worldwide music business and promoting business meetings through providing an opportunity for international music business information exchange.
We are pleased to say that the number of successfully closed business meetings at TIMM has been showing increase over the previous years ever since the 1st Tokyo Asia Music Market (TAM) and that the event has continued to grow in size and scale. In addition, starting from last year, we have opened up the opportunity for overseas music enterprises to participate in business meetings as an exhibitor.
Looking to further improve this positive outlook, the 8th Tokyo International Music Market will provide an opportunity for worldwide music enterprises to run booths this year. In addition, the showcase events will not only feature anime songs, but also artists of various genre from all over the world. Also in an attempt to present more music, there will be a number of mini live shows at the business meeting site this year.

Continuing from last year, this year’s TIMM website will feature a video presentation by domestic and international exhibitors. As it was last year, this feature will allow the worldwide exhibitors to list information such as company profile, artist and event information. This is a useful way to promote your business meetings.
The video presentations can be viewed at video presentation booth located in the business meeting site.
The booths for domestic and international music enterprises to conduct personal business meetings will be provided for 2 days. At the business meeting site, there will be translators (English, French, Chinese, Korean) and number of supervisors available to support your meeting.

The TIMM business seminar that has been well received over the years will take place again this year. One or two sessions featuring selected timely theme from American and European music market will be offered.

This year’s live show will not only be limited to anime songs, it will in addition offer live showcases featuring all genres of music. We will be accepting entries from all over the world.
We will announce more details and start accepting entries in mid-June.
This live show will be the only ＢtoＢtoＣ, meaning it is scheduled be open to the general public as well.
